Dave Myers’ wife remembers ‘wonderful, brave man’

As the world mourns the loss of beloved chef and TV personality Dave Myers, his wife is remembering him as a “wonderful, brave man.”

Myers, best known as one half of the popular cooking duo the Hairy Bikers, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, surrounded by his family. He had been battling a long illness, but his wife says he never lost his sense of humor or his love for cooking.

“Dave was the most incredible husband and father,” his wife said in a statement. “He faced his illness with such strength and courage, always putting on a brave face for us. He was truly a wonderful, kind-hearted man.”

Myers’ wife also thanked his fans for their outpouring of love and support in the wake of his passing. “We are so grateful for all the messages of sympathy and love we have received,” she said. “Dave touched so many people with his cooking and his larger-than-life personality, and we will always cherish the memories we made together.”

Myers’ funeral will be held privately for family and close friends, but his wife says she hopes to arrange a public memorial service in the future to celebrate his life and legacy.
