Mummy, why am I not going to school?

Dear child,

I know you must be feeling confused and frustrated about not being able to go to school. The reason is that we are currently facing a global pandemic called COVID-19. This virus spreads easily and can make people very sick, so to keep everyone safe, schools have been closed temporarily.

Although you might miss seeing your friends and teachers, it’s important to remember that this is only temporary. We are doing our best to stay healthy and prevent the spread of the virus, so that we can all return to our normal routines soon.

In the meantime, we can continue your education at home through online learning, reading books, and doing fun activities together. Remember, this is a challenging time for everyone, but we will get through it together as a family.
